Acceptance of Conditions of Approval
Conditions of Approval
That the work is carried out by suitably qualified and experienced tradespeople or by people with the necessary skill and ability to do the painting to a high standard of finish.
That, if the painting is done by a tradesperson, the tradesperson is appropriately licensed and insured.
That you are liable for, and will rectify at your cost, any damage done by overspray, or any other kind of damage done to any other Lot by your contractor, or others associated with this work.
If any Common Property areas are damaged by your contractor, or others associated with this work, the cost to fix and/or clean the damage will be paid for by you.
That the people undertaking the work will comply with all noise and environmental regulations as set by Gold Coast City Council and/or the Queensland Government and/or the Australian Government.
That if any water pressure cleaning of any surface causes wash-off, the wash-off is handled in the manner prescribed by Gold Coast City Council.
That the people undertaking the painting will observe all applicable workplace health and safety legislation.
That the painting and future maintenance of the painted surfaces is at the expense of the Lot Owner (at the time).
That you must pay for, and maintain, the work.
That the painting will be finalised within 90 days of the approval being given.
That, should any of the conditions of approval be breached, or the painted surfaces are not competed to a standard accepted by the Committee on behalf of the Body Corporate, the Committee reserves the right to request the painting be redone at your expense.
